Man killed in Queensbury crash named by police
A man who died when the car he was driving crashed into a wall has been named by police.
Freddie Clarke, 26, from Baildon, was driving a Volkswagen Polo along Brighouse and Denholme Gate Road, near Queensbury, when it crashed off the road on Friday.
His family said in a statement: "We would like to thank all those who have offered words of comfort and support during this heart-breaking time."
West Yorkshire Police said the 54-year-old driver of a black Ford Fiesta, which is thought to have been involved in the crash, had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later released on bail.
