Thousands of faucets sold on Amazon have been recalled because they could cause lead to seep into the water, which can be extremely harmful for children.
Consumer Affairs recently announced that 10,000 faucets sold on the popular online shopping site can expose users to the toxic metal that can cause neurological issues in kids and infants.
Lead can specifically cause decreased cognitive performance, attention-related behavioral issues and lower IQ, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
