Second suspect charged for St. Thomas stabbing incident

On May 11, police responded to the incident involving a female victim who was assaulted and struck with a thrown knife. Two females, with whom she was familiar, assaulted her without provocation. The victim left, but was confronted a block away, where one suspect threw a knife at her. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury. The first suspect was arrested a short time after the incident and charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of failing to comply with probation.
