Jessica Chastain is still 'trying to learn Italian' for her husband
Actress Jessica Chastain has said that she is still trying to master Italian so she can speak to her husband Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo in his native language. Chastain has been married to Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo since June 2017 and the couple have two children, daughter Giulietta and son Augustus, reports Speaking to Italian publication IO Donna , Chastain said: "I tried and I'm still trying to learn Italian, since it's part of my family, but I still don't feel confident enough to speak without difficulty. "I also studied four years of French in high school, alas I don't remember anything. In the public school system in the United States, unfortunately, you don't learn much." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 'Swing is King': Mr. Hemant's Strategy Finally Explained in Free Session TradeWise Learn More Undo The 48-year-old actress lives in New York with her family and although it would be easy for her to relocate to Italy she has never considered quitting America, despite the political upheaval she feels since Donald Trump was re-elected as US President. Chastain said: "I have loved New York since the first time I went there, on a school trip when I was still a high school student in California. New York is my favourite city in the world. I love walking down the streets and hearing so many different languages, so many different accents. "Among the many things I like about the city, there is one fundamental: it erases class differences at least twice a day, when everyone - including me when I walk my children to school - takes the subway. "I realise that living in the United States at this time in history means having to accept many decisions and political statements that I do not agree with, especially when it comes to immigration. But I still believe in the good of the United States and I want to be a part of it. Leaving would seem like giving up. And I am not one to give up, so I will not do it just because of one bad apple." Brie Larson to release party-themed cookbook
"Captain Marvel' actress Brie Larson has announced plans to release 'Party People', a party-themed cookbook, later this year. The 35-year-old actress has joined forces with best friend and chef Courtney McBroom to create the new cookbook that they'll release later this year, reports She told "Through [our friendship], we've thrown many parties together. We have a really solid group of girlfriends, and whether it's been road trips or at someone's house, parties, whatever, we're really good at celebrating. And part of it is because we love doing it. "It's not just about the food. It's about knowing how to cook things confidently so that you can enjoy your party … The recipes are based on those things so you can maximize time with your guests and not feel like you're the one stuck in the kitchen while everybody else is having fun." 'Party People' will feature more than 100 recipes and party ideas, but McBroom says 'Party People' isn't a conventional cookbook,' reports She said: "It doesn't have to be hard. You don't have to do a ton of work to bring all of your friends together and your loved ones and to surround yourself with community. And that was one of the main things we wanted to do, is make sure we were helping people do that." Meanwhile, Larson earlier said that she hopes her work helps people to "feel less alone". The movie star also explained that she's felt more free to express herself over recent years. Larson told The Talks: "As I have gotten older and I have had the courage to speak out, I realised that the things that are inside of me, the things I am most afraid of, everyone is and I feel a sense of inner freedom by expressing it. "By relating to people like yourself, you can go, 'Yeah. You are also crazy. I felt that, too.' What I am looking for in this world is a sense of not feeling alone, and that's one of the greatest gifts you can give to another person. I hope that my work does that. I hope that when people leave the theatre they feel less alone." Indo-Asian News Service

A$AP Rocky says working with Denzel Washington was a ‘dream come true'
Los Angeles: Rapper A$AP Rocky has heaped praise on Hollywood star Denzel Washington, with whom he has worked in 'Highest 2 Lowest' The 36-year-old rapper stars opposite Washington, in 'Highest 2 Lowest', a new neo-noir crime thriller film, and Rocky said to relish the experience of working with the Hollywood icon, confessing that he's "always gonna be a student and a fan of certain people". Speaking to Variety, Rocky shared: "It was like a dream come true. But trust me, it was difficult to not fan out every millisecond of the duration. It was crazy - it's Denzel, man. I don't give a … how successful (I am): I'm always gonna be a student and a fan of certain people, and I'm always going to give them their flowers.' 'I'm never going to be too big to be able to say that I had to hold my composure from not fanning out. The first movies I really loved were 'Juice', 'Malcolm X' and 'Michael Jackson: Moonwalker'. The first time I saw him, I was watching 'Malcolm X'." Rocky has also starred alongside the likes of Rose Byrne, Conan O'Brien and Danielle Macdonald in 'If I Had Legs I'd Kick You', the new drama film directed and written by Mary Bronstein, reports The rap star has said that he feels very proud of that project, which centres on a woman who tries to navigate her child's mysterious illness, too. Rocky said: "That film is for all the moms across the world. It's so hard for women. To be a mom, oh my God, the responsibility." Rocky subsequently discussed his own approach to parenting, revealing that he tries to "spend as much time with (his) little ones" as possible. The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, said: "Like being a dad, people always kind of look at you for, like, financial responsibility or to fix the sink and fix the car and do this and that. Honestly, man, the way that we look at roles, it's really traditional. But it's a bit different when you're in a position where you barely drive. "I ain't gonna fix no cars, right? I don't go on my roof, I don't even know if anything could get stuck on my roof. I haven't cleaned the gutters, none of that stuff. I'm busy creating some crazy master plans. I'm trying to spend as much time with my little ones when I'm not on phone calls all day."
