An IRL Pac-Man experience is coming to Dubai: Tickets, venue and more
One of the most iconic video games of all time is coming to Dubai, and we can't wait.
Fans of the arcade classic Pac-Man will soon be able to physically step into the game at a fun-filled live experience in Dubai.
Coming to Active Games UAE at Al Quoz in May, the immersive experience will allow you to step into a life-sized glowing maze where you take the place of Pac-Man.
You'll have to have your wits about you as you dodge those hungry ghosts, collect power pellets and chase a high score.
Tickets for the nostalgia-laden activity officially go on sale on Wednesday April 23, but eager gamers can sign up for the waiting list to be in with a chance of an exclusive offer.
The 45-minute maze experience is priced from Dhs160 and can be completed either individually or as a team.
For those unfamiliar with the game, or in need of a refresher, it's a certified 80s classic.
It stars a cute, round-faced yellow character navigating its way through a maze while being chased by ghosts. The aim of the game is to munch on every visible dot in the maze, grab power-ups and not get caught by any ghosts.
And now a real-life version is coming to Dubai, which sees you become Pac-Man. The arcade game is brought to life with vibrant visuals and stunning digital projections.
Games will be available between 1pm and 11pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and from 11am until midnight on the weekend.
Post-game, you'll be able to grab a tasty treat at a retro-themed cafe after snapping some cool pics of the maze.
Opening May 2025. From Dhs160. Tue – Thu (1pm – 11pm), Sat – Sun (11am – midnight). Active Games, Al Quoz.
