Legendary Actor, 61, Reflects On Life's 'Mistakes' Ahead of Film Release originally appeared on Parade. has been keeping busy promoting his new racing flick F1 ahead of its theatrical release on June 27. The legendary actor has been popping up on red carpets and at photo calls lately, looking as handsome as ever with a fresh new haircut that has his fans in awe. But there's more to Pitt than his looks, and it's clear that he's been doing some soul searching lately. While talking to Entertainment Tonight about his new movie, Pitt got reflective, telling them, "No matter the mistake, you know, you just learn from it and move on. It'll lead to the next success." 🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬 Pitt went on to say, "Really, I think you get to my age and see how important it is to surround yourself with the people you know, the people you love, the people that love you back. Friends, family, and that's it. From there, we get to go make things. It's a pretty simple, I think, equation." This conversation followed a recent GQ interview, where Pitt opened up about the constant media scrutiny, especially of his relationships. "My personal life is always in the news," Pitt said during the interview. "It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way." "It's been an annoyance I've had to always deal with in different degrees, large and small, as I do the things I really want to do," Pitt said of the constant public attention on his personal life. The F1 star continued, "So, it's always been this kind of nagging time suck or waste of time, if you let it be that, I don't know. I don't know. Mostly I feel pretty…. My life is fairly contained. It feels pretty warm and secure with my friends, with my loves, with my fam, with my knowledge of who I am, that, you know, it's like this fly buzzing around a little bit.'It sounds like the Fight Clubstar is not letting his lengthy legal battle, which led to a December 2024 divorce from, get him down. Pitt and Jolie's marriage drama dominated headlines for years, and there are still ongoing rumbles about his fractured relationships with his children. Just a few weeks after Pitt drove his last race as Sonny Hayes for F1, his divorce from Jolie was finalized. Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jodie Comer turn on the style at 28 Years Later event in New York City
Aaron Taylor-Johnson joined co-star Jodie Comer and director Danny Boyle at an event for their new zombie movie 28 Years Later in New York City on Sunday. The actor, 34, cut a stylish figure in a beige outfit, as he teamed an open shirt with a matching sports jacket, pants, and suede shoes. He completed the look with a gold necklace and a flashy Omega watch, after signing a deal with the brand which provides timepieces to the James Bond franchise - adding fuel to the fire that he could be the next 007. Meanwhile Jodie, 32, looked chic in a flowing black blouse which was worn with bell bottoms and pointed heels. The much-anticipated release of 28 Years Later is just weeks away, with fans left waiting two decades to discover the next instalment in the film series. And with the fictional universe devastated by the Rage virus nearly three decades ago, the new film will provide insight into how humanity has adapted to survive. For one such community, this means complete isolation from the outside world, and in a new clip ahead of the film's premiere, Aaron shared insight into the new universe. In the new land, known as The Holy Island, humans are entirely self-sufficient, and only leave the community to hunt on the mainland, when the tide is low. Aaron plays Jamie a scavenger who is tasked with training his son Spike to survive in the wilderness, before they embark on a deadly mission to the mainland. In an exclusive featurette, Aaron explained: 'My character is part of this community that survived 20-odd years because they live on the Holy Island, disconnected from the mainland. 'They don't have doctors or medicine, can only eat what they can grow, they can go hunt, but they have to go hunt on the mainland. 'And we have rules, if you leave the island and you don't return, there's no one going out to look for you, they're going to assume you've been infected and you're dead.' Aaron then explains that for his character's son, it's a 'rite of passage' to learn his father's hunting skills, in the hope that they can survive when they leave the island. The film is set on the real-life island of Lindisfarne, which is only accessible through a causeway during low tide. Jodie also stars in the film as Jamie's wife Isla, while Ralph Fiennes plays Dr Kelson, a survivor of the outbreak.
