Kerry Katona shares heartfelt post about finding love again as she embarks on Celebs Go Dating journey after split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney

Kerry Katona shared a heartfelt post about finding love again on Sunday as she embarks on Celebs Go Dating. The former Atomic Kitten star, 44, was left devastated when she split from her fiancé Ryan Mahoney in November after six years together, but has since admitted she is no longer 'heartbroken'. Now taking to Instagram she shared a new post which featured an optimistic voice over that read: 'One day, someone's going to come into your life who can't get enough of you. Someone who wakes up every day just excited to hear what you have to say and see your face. 'Someone who will make time in their busy schedule for you because you matter to them. 'Someone who will treat you with the love and tenderness and respect that you always deserved. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'Someday, someone is going to come into your life who's going to make every heartbreak and disappointment and tear before them make sense. 'Because if those things hadn't happened, you wouldn't be the person you are today that led you to the moment of meeting them.' Speaking to Closer recently, Kerry revealed her two-stone weight loss as she said: 'I'm slimmer now than I was in Atomic Kitten. I'm getting there emotionally, but physically this is the best shape I've ever been in.' She attributed the weight loss to both the fall-out from the split, and performing three shows a day during pantomime with Katie Price. At the time of their break-up, the reality star confirmed that the fitness trainer had moved out of their home following a 'breach of trust'. However, she has since said that she has come to the realisation that Ryan wasn't for her as she reflected positively back on their separation. Writing in her column for New! Magazine, she said: 'I'm feeling really good going into 2025 - it's going to be a great year. I'm not heartbroken anymore and feel like I know that Ryan wasn't the one for me. 'I'm a single woman and am in the best relationship of my life, which is with myself.' Also appearing on Celebs Go Dating are Love Island's Olivia Hawkins, Made In Chelsea 's Sam Prince, Too Hot To Handle 's Louis Russell, and Donna Preston. Donna completed the line-up following Christine McGuinness 's exit, who, after a few days, realised she wasn't ready to date in the public eye. Speaking about joining the show, Donna gushed to The Sun: 'I'm buzzing to be joining the show and to finally crack the code on what men really want, besides snacks and not being asked what they're thinking. 'I'm intrigued to meet new people, but let's be honest, if a date's boring, I won't waste anyone's time. 'Life's too short to sit through tales of someone's coin collection, I'll be gone before the starter arrives.'

Kerry Katona shares emotional post about finding love after Ryan Mahoney split ahead of Celebs Go Dating debut

Kerry Katona has shared an emotional message of hope about finding love again, following her split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney. Atomic Kitten star Kerry, 43, posted a heartfelt video to her Instagram Story as she gears up for her Celebs Go Dating debut later this year. 3 3 The clip, set to a motivational voiceover, appeared to reflect Kerry's optimism for the future - and her belief that true love may still lie ahead. The voice in the video said: "One day, someone's going to come into your life who can't get enough of you. "Someone who wakes up every day just excited to hear what you have to say and see your face. "Someone who will make time in their busy schedule for you because you matter to them. "Someone who will treat you with the love and tenderness and respect that you always deserved. "Someday, someone is going to come into your life who's going to make every heartbreak and disappointment and tear before them make sense. "Because if those things hadn't happened, you wouldn't be the person you are today that led you to the moment of meeting them." The Sun revealed in February how Kerry had signed up to the E4 reality show. She had been engaged to personal trainer Ryan, 36, for four years and had previously said he'd been like a dad to her five kids - Molly, 21, Lilly-Sue, 20, Heidi, 16, Max, 14, and eight-year-old DJ. At the time, the Whole Again songstress put it down to an alleged "breach of trust". Kerry Katona shows off two stone weight loss in low cut minidress Now Kerry's on the hunt for a new man and thinks a well-managed dating scenario could be what she needs to find Mr Right. A source said at the time: "Kerry was heartbroken when she split from Ryan – it's taken her quite a while to get over what happened. "But she was approached to do the show and is always up for a new opportunity. "Bosses know she makes amazing telly and she's really hoping she finds a proper connection." Kerry Katona's love life timeline Kerry's first high-profile relationship was with Brian McFadden, who was then a member of the Irish boyband Westlife. The couple married in 2002 and had two daughters together, Molly and Lilly-Sue, but divorce beckoned just four years later after infidelity claims. In 2007, Kerry married Mark Croft, a former taxi driver. Their relationship was tumultuous and marked by financial difficulties and accusations of infidelity. They had two children together, Heidi and Maxwell, before divorcing in 2011. Kerry has spoken openly about the difficulties she faced during this period, including struggles with her mental health and substance abuse. Following this, she entered into a relationship with George Kay, a former professional rugby league player. They married in 2014 and had a daughter, Dylan-Jorge (DJ). However, their relationship was fraught with issues, including horrifying domestic abuse, and they separated in 2017. Kay died in 2019 after 'biting into a ball of cocaine'. Kerry later found love again with Ryan Mahoney, a fitness trainer. The couple became engaged in 2020, and Kerry described Ryan as a stabilising and positive influence in her life. After increasing speculation late in 2024, Kerry revealed they had split over a "breach in trust" and Ryan had moved out of her home. 3

52yo dating ‘stupidly good looking' man 25 years younger cops hate

A fiftysomething divorcee who is dating a man 25 years her junior after her marriage fell apart when she discovered her husband's 'six-year affair' has opened up about backlash her new romance receives. Charlotte Anne Fidler, 52, was married for 17 years when she discovered her husband was having a long-term affair with another woman. The career-driven British journalist, who travelled the world working for glossy magazines, said she was 'blindsided' by the break-up – and blamed her gruelling work schedule for the 'widening chasm' that had formed between them. For several years, Ms Fidler struggled to move on, but after her ex remarried she decided to get back on the horse. After several dates that she described as 'fine', she soon realised she didn't want to 'swap stories about divorce and children'. On a quest for 'something different' with her love life, she switched the age range on her dating to 27-39, and after a fling with a man in his 30s, she matched with V – a 27-year-old Romanian vet. The pair have been together for four years now, but after Ms Fidler penned a piece about 'turning things around at a particularly tough time and finding love in an unexpected place' for The Telegraph, she said she wasn't prepared for the onslaught of criticism online. 'I didn't quite realise the impact that it might have – or the over 1300 mostly negative, mostly written by men, comments that it would generate,' Ms Fidler explained in an Instagram post recently. She went on to explain that the negative reaction made her realise that her 104,000 followers were all 'incredibly supportive' of their relationship, but that she was 'quite buffered' from critics. 'Perhaps that's given me an unrealistic idea of what a wider audience would think about me talking about this unconventional relationship,' she said. 'Some even suggest the Vet is only with me for a visa (he already has one) or my money (I don't have much!). And worse!' Many leapt to Ms Fidler's defence, stating there was a double standard when it came to older women dating younger men. 'I think it's so ridiculous that people have strong opinions about relationships where the woman is older. Who decided that the man always has to be older? So many men date much younger women without anyone raising an eyebrow,' one wrote. 'What's the big deal …? How many men have relationships or marry far younger women, take Mick Jagger as one example of many. Why is it acceptable for an 80 year old man to go out with a woman 40 or 50 years younger, any yet there's some kind of uproar if a woman is even slightly older than the guy? I really don't get it,' another agreed. As one declared: 'You are beautiful intelligent and inspiring and why should you not date a hot younger man? Nobody bats an eyelid when men do it!' Ms Fidler explained the reason she and V 'work' is because she's not trying to force him into anything. 'Some people said it wouldn't last (not to my face, tho'!). But, somehow it has – because there is something about the way we both live our lives that fits and makes us happy,' she wrote in a previous Instagram post. 'Perhaps because he's a free spirit that doesn't want to be pinned down or plan anything. And my life is so full that I have no desire – or time – to do that to him. 'And we both like our space. No desire to be together all the time. But when we are together, it's magical (exactly because we're NOT together all the time!).' Ms Fidler also detailed her sex life with the 'stupidly good looking' man 25 years younger, describing it as 'life-changing'.
