Eurovision 2025 semi-final one review — the usual glorious nonsense
It is that time of year when countries across Europe and beyond represent themselves in a bizarre parallel world of national folk traditions, synthetic dance beats, novelty tunes and terrible faux urban rap, all performed in choreographed dance routines with high production values. Eurovision has so little to do with anything else going on in popular music, you have to wonder: how did this happen?
