If you are looking for something less expensive but just as special for the moms in your life, here are a few fun ideas:
Watch a movie or show with your mom; yummy snacks are a bonus.
Create a custom slideshow/video of photos on your phone and watch it together.
Take care of the chores she dislikes (Do the dishes, laundry, mopping, dusting. A little time and effort goes a long way and doesn't cost a penny).
Help her with a project (yard work or deep clean part of the house)
Pick her a wildflower bouquet.
Go on a family hike or drive.
Create an appreciation jar. Fill a Mason jar with pieces or paper that tell mom why she is special.
No matter how you choose to celebrate the special moms/nurturers in your life, make sure to tell them how much you appreciate all that they do for you. Kind words go a long way for hardworking moms.
