Is the guaranteed rent scheme I've been offered too good to be true?
I've had the same tenants in a flat I own for seven years, but they're moving out next month. I'm quite daunted by the prospect of finding new tenants and managing the property as I now live some distance away. After listing it online, I've been approached by a company offering to take it on for three years and guarantee me a fixed monthly rent whether it has tenants in there or not. It says it will handle everything and I just get paid each month. It sounds appealing but also a bit too good to be true. Should I consider it?Sara, Manchester
