Three-bedroom house on sale for £345k features the 'most unique bathroom ever'

A three-bedroom house described as having the 'most unique bathroom ever' has gone on for sale for £345k. From the outside, the terraced home in Newcastle Upon Tyne looks like an ordinary period terrace home. However, when you look closely at the bathroom, you notice a very distinct feature. The popular TikTok account Housing Horror shared a video of the listing and said: 'Just found this house on Rightmove and it has got the most unique bathroom I have ever seen. 'We've got the living room, and upon first glance it looks relatively standard, but wait for it. 'This is the bloody bathroom, and I'm sorry, it looks like a museum.' The bathtub is built around a wooden base, and it sits in the middle of the room. The bathroom is being likened to a living room with a sofa, an armchair, a console table and lamps. It even boasts of a statue in the corner of the bathroom. The video commentator said: 'I have never seen anything quite like this. It is definitely the most unique interior I have ever seen, but I tell you what, I am not against it. 'But it's so unusual because you come out of the shower and you can just chill on the armchair.' The listing of the house says: 'Oozing an abundance of period charm and timeless character, this fabulous mid-terraced home offers spacious and versatile accommodation ideal for modern family life while celebrating its heritage. 'From the moment you enter, you'll be struck by the property's unique charm, with a wealth of traditional features including ornate ceiling coving, delicate ceiling roses, decorative picture rails, and exquisite fireplaces that add warmth and elegance to many of the rooms. 'The welcoming hallway, with its eye-catching decorative archway and classic corbels, sets the tone for the rest of the home. 'At the front of the property, the formal lounge benefits from a striking bay window. 'The separate dining room offers an ideal setting for entertaining, while the generously proportioned dining kitchen is fitted with built-in cooking appliances and provides ample space for both cooking and casual family dining.' The video commentator said: 'I have never seen anything quite like this. It is definitely the most unique interior I have ever seen, but I tell you what, I am not against it' 'A delightful sun room to the rear extends the living space further, offering a peaceful retreat with views over the courtyard. 'Upstairs, the first floor boasts two beautifully appointed double bedrooms and a third, well-sized single bedroom—perfect for a nursery, guest room, or home office. 'The highlight of this floor is the impressively spacious bathroom, featuring a luxurious four-piece suite and a stunning feature window adorned with stained and leaded glass—a true focal point that captures the home's historic appeal. 'A further staircase leads to the loft space on the second floor, complete with three Velux-style windows. 'Outside, the property enjoys a low-maintenance themed, enclosed courtyard to the rear—perfect for alfresco dining or a tranquil morning coffee. 'Situated in a highly sought-after residential area of Heaton, the property is ideally placed for access to a wide range of local shops, independent cafés, and amenities. Excellent transport links are within reach, providing convenient connections to Newcastle City Centre and the surrounding areas, making this an outstanding choice for commuters and families alike.'
