How you can help food pantries in the Kansas City area
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — June is National Hunger Awareness Month and many food banks in Missouri and Kansas are getting low on supplies due to recent U.S. Department of Agriculture cuts.
President Donald Trump earlier this year cut $1 billion in federal food aid and canceled another $500 million from the Emergency Food Assistance Program.
