TATA.ev launches 10 high-speed MegaChargers across major highways

has unveiled its first 10 high-speed MegaChargers. The move marks a major milestone in commitment to building a robust EV infrastructure and comes as part of its larger plan to install 500 MegaChargers across launch, executed in collaboration with EV infrastructure players ChargeZone and Statiq, strategically places the ultra-fast chargers along major intercity corridors and urban hubs, directly addressing concerns around range anxiety and long-distance EV Rajan, Chief Strategy Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles highlighted the significance of the initiative. Notably, the Vadodara station features a flagship 400kW charger that can charge up to six vehicles simultaneously and deliver 150km of range in just 15 MegaChargers on the Delhi–Jaipur Highway are spaced roughly every 60km, offering 120kW fast charging at popular stops such as SS Plaza (Gurugram), Hotel Old Rao (Kaprivas), Asli Pappu Dhaba (Hamzapur), and Hotel Highway King (Shahpura).The Pune–Nashik corridor has a key installation at Akash Misal House (Rajgurunagar), while urban commuters in Bengaluru can use the new charger at Monk Mansion in Electronic City. Udaipur also gains a strategically located charger at Ramee Royal Resort, catering to both tourists and speed, these MegaChargers are designed to enhance the EV charging experience. Many locations offer restrooms, cafes, Wi-Fi, retail outlets, and even co-working spaces, making them ideal stops during long journeys or for urban customers also receive special benefits, including up to 25% discount on charging tariffs, priority service, and 24x7 customer support. Chargers can be located and accessed through the app, with support for auto charge and RFID-based CEO Akshit Bansal called the launch a pivotal moment for EV adoption in India, saying, 'Our collaboration with is a milestone in building a trusted, nationwide EV charging network.
