The group was happy to read that they had won up to €5,000 on their raffle ticket but were quickly surprised with the truth of their winnings.
One of the ticket-holders said: "I checked the ticket initially thinking we won €5,000 since the raffle codes matched.
"I picked up the phone and called the two boys to tell them the news, and we were all pretty happy with that'.
'But then, I went back and scanned the ticket online and saw 'You've won €250,000'.

"I thought surely that's not right? So, I re-scanned it once more and it was still there.
"I had to call them back straight away. We were over the moon."
