Man who was spotted fleeing Heathrow airport staff on the tarmac was 'being deported from Britain on a commercial flight'
A man who was filmed being chased across the tarmac Heathrow Airport, was an illegal migrant who was set to be deported from the UK. The man had escaped prior to boarding a commercial flight which was due to depart to India, MailOnline understands. He was being escorted to the UK by contractors Mitie Care & Custody on behalf of the Home Office. However the man managed to get away from his security escorts and made it out of the airport. He was then captured on video by a member of the public, who shared the footage on social media. The man was spotted being chased by at least four other men as he raced across the airport grounds near Terminal 2. He was pursued for around a minute before he is eventually stopped. After managing to evade airport staff on foot, a van appears and two men jump out to capture the runaway man. He was escorted away from the planes by the two men. The police were later seen arriving. The man was pinned to the ground as he was arrested by the police. The man was then returned to the flight and deported from the UK. A spokesperson for Mitie said: 'An investigation into the incident is underway. The individual was quickly apprehended, re-boarded the flight, and was handed over to the relevant authorities on landing.' The Home Office are understood to be investigating the incident. During the video, the narrator becomes increasingly frustrated by the bizarre situation unfolding in front of him. He said: 'What is going on here. Why would there be people running? That geezer is running from someone, they are chasing him. 'What is going on? Isn't there anyone fit enough to take him down.' Becoming more frustrated by witnessing the man still not caught, he said: 'They are going to have to stop the operations, they are going to have to stop aircraft moving, he is running straight towards them.' After the man was stopped, the narrator added: 'What the hell was that all about. 'They are stopping aircraft taxiing as well. 'If that was America there would be 50 vehicles there by now, 700 police. One bloke.' A Heathrow spokesperson said: 'Working with partners, we have quickly resolved an incident at the airport involving an individual who accessed the airfield taxiway. 'The individual has been removed from the airport.

Convict admits framing illegal migrant for Trump assassination plot in dramatic twist
An illegal migrant accused of planning to assassinate Donald Trump was framed in an elaborate scheme to stop him testifying in court, prosecutors say. Ramon Morales-Reyes, 54, was rounded up by ICE last week after Milwaukee cops accused him of writing a chilling letter to a border agent warning he was 'tired of this president messing with us Mexicans'. 'We have done more for this country than you white people—you have been deporting my family and I think it is time Donald J. Trump get what he has coming to him,' the letter read. The letter, written in neat handwriting in English, included a promise to 'self-deport myself back to Mexico ', but only after carrying out a plot on the president's life. 'Not before I use my 30 yard 6 to shoot your precious president in his head - I will see him at one of his big rallies,' the letter concluded. Morales-Reyes' arrest was lauded by DHS Secretary Kristi Noem at the time, but according to a filing in Milwaukee County on Monday, the letter was fake. Demetric Scott, 52, was arrested after allegedly trying to frame Morales-Reyes and get him deported so he would not be able to testify against him in a violent armed robbery case. He is set to stand trial next month, with Morales-Reyes reportedly expected to be a key witness. The letter included chilling threats to 'shoot your precious president in his head - I will see him at one of his big rallies' in neat handwriting, which investigators said they believe was fake as the man Scott allegedly tried to frame does not speak, read or write English According to filings reported by WISN, Morales-Reyes identified Scott to authorities as the suspect who kicked him off a bicycle in September 2023, before he slashed him with something sharp and took off with the bike. Prosecutors say that Scott intended to use the hostile rhetoric surrounding illegal immigrants from the White House to manipulate authorities into deporting Morales-Reyes before he could testify. Although the letter that led to Morales-Reyes's arrest was sent to an ICE agent, Scott also allegedly sent similar letters about assassinating Trump to Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman and Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul. In the letter to Kaul, he reportedly elaborated on the plot on Trump's life, including saying his 'family is with the Mexican Mafia.' 'How would you like it if we use a bomb to blow up the white house while your precious president is still inside,' the letter to Kaul said, per the filing. 'Somone need to blow this entire country up like 911 in New York. Can't you white understand we are tired of running its time to kill ICE Agents or be killed.' The letters were all listed with Morales-Reyes as the sender with his return address. Investigators reportedly became suspicious of Morales-Reyes' true involvement soon after his arrest, and found that he was not fluent in English. Despite the letters being written in neat handwriting in English, they found he could not read or write in English. Morales-Reyes pleaded his innocence, and told investigators that 'the only person who would want to get him in trouble was the person who had robbed him,' the filing said. Scott was already behind bars at the time, and when cops searched his cell on May 30 they found a blue pen matching the turquoise color of the letters to officials. A note saying Scott needed the Attorney General's Office address as well as another envelope were also found under his bed, which was stamped with the address and phone number to the Milwaukee Immigration and Customs Enforcement office, the filing said. According to officials, Scott admitted that he wrote the letters soon after, saying that he believes the letters were the simplest way to get 'this a**hole' off his back. Scott allegedly admitted to having his mother help mail the letters for him, but said she and other accomplices were unaware of the content of the letters. He is now facing further charges of witness intimidation and identity theft, and is due back in court on June 3. It is unclear what will happen to Morales-Reyes, with the Mexican national found to be in the US illegally and he already owned a lengthy rap sheet. According to ICE, his rap sheet includes arrests for felony hit-and-run, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. Officials said after his arrest that he was being held in Dodge County Jail in Juneau, Wisconsin, and was set to be deported.

Fine diners in luxury restaurant enjoyed £75 steaks as illegal migrant tended £1.5million cannabis farm on the floors above
An illegal migrant who tended a £1.5million cannabis farm above a luxury restaurant has been jailed for three years. Le Thanh Long, 23, worked as a gardener at an industrial-scale grow house as oblivious guests continued to 'enjoy fine dining' just a few floors below at the Casa Brighouse hotel and restaurant on Elland Road, Bradford. When police raided the venue on August 5 last year, they discovered more than 1,700 cannabis plants spread across 13 grow rooms on the upper floors of the restaurant. The crop could have been worth around £499,100 in wholesale value and £1,426,000 at street value, while there was also evidence of an 'obvious previous cannabis harvest', Bradford Crown Court heard. Cops uncovered the cannabis farm after realising the venue's electricity supply had been bypassed and reconnected from the street. Long had been hiding at the premises during the police raid before making a bid to escape. However he was detained by officers at a nearby bus stop. Following the raid, the owners of Casa Brighouse stressed that its 'customers, team, and the wider community' had no involvement in the drugs operation. The hotel and restaurant, where the most expensive menu items included a £75 chateaubriand steak, has since been taken over by new owners. Prosecutor Nadim Bashir told the court how when cops raided the venue, they discovered a new extension had been converted into a cannabis farm. He added that Long worked as a 'gardener' for the weed operation while 'Casa's guests continued to enjoy fine dining on the ground floor.' Mr Bashir said it was 'an operation capable of producing industrial quantities [of cannabis] for commercial use.' Mitigating for Long, Jeremy Barton claimed he had performed a lesser role in the operation and received help from others. He said: 'Whilst not a victim of modern slavery, there are still elements of something along those lines.' Judge Kirstie Watson told Long: 'You were in this country illegally and entered for economic purposes. 'You were part of this operation for at least four months from April to August [2024] when you were arrested. You must therefore have known about the scale of the operation. 'I accept that having entered this country illegally looking for work, that vulnerability was no doubt exploited by others.' The Casa hotel facebook page wrote on Facebook on August 20 saying it was 'aware of the recent speculation surrounding criminal activity in close proximity to Casa'. 'While it is true that we own the building itself, it is important to clarify that the premises in question are leased out to a third-party company that is entirely separate from Casa,' it added. The hotel had its premises licence as police investigated the grow operation last year, which was later restored after it was taken over by new owners. Calderdale Council granted the transfer of the Casa's licence to the Anderson Group during a meeting of its licensing sub-committee in September that year. Long, of Withington Road in Manchester, was found guilty of being concerned in the production of cannabis and was jailed for three years. Judge Watson also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs and paraphernalia recovered from the raid. Long was found not guilty of being involved in another cannabis farm at the former Ritz Ballroom on Bradford Road in Brighouse. Also acquitted were other Vietnamese nationals Long Van Le, 32, Tuan Le Viet, 34, Anhtuan Puan Nguyen, 18, and Phuong Nguyen, 22, all of Bradford Road, Brighouse.
