Two teenage boys arrested over replica gun in Hull's East Park
Two teenage boys have been arrested after they were seen with an imitation gun in a Hull Police said officers were called to reports of "teenage boys believed to be carrying a weapon" in East Park shortly before 16:00 BST on Wednesday and had recovered what they thought was a replica gun.A 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.A 17-year-old boy was held on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm and possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. Both have since been released on bail while inquiries continued, the force Lucy Kevan said the incident was "concerning for the local community" but officers had acted appealed for anyone with information to contact the force. Man with imitation BB-style gun facing assault charges: London police
A London man has been charged after police say he entered a residential building with an imitation BB-style gun late last week. On Friday at 1:30 p.m., a man wearing what appeared to be a tactical style vest with a firearm on it entered a residential building in the area of Dundas and William streets. A security guard inside of the building observed the suspect male and called 911. Officers located and arrested the man exiting the building. Police confirmed the alleged firearm on the vest was an imitation BB style handgun. As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old London man has been charged with the following offences: Possession of a weapon Breach of probation. The accused is scheduled to appear in London court on June 23, 2025, in relation to the charges. Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
