A woman claims she was accused of wearing an "inappropriate" outfit at Disney World.
A personal trainer visiting one of Disney's theme parks in Orlando, Florida claims that she was told she was wearing an "improper" outfit. She was visiting Disney World with her husband. The personal trainer says that she could have bought a $45 T-shirt to cover up.
Nicole Arena, a personal trainer, is going viral on social media after claiming that she wore an "inappropriate" outfit in the minds of some while at the Disney theme park.
The woman was reportedly wearing a sports bra and leggings.
"Once again, I've upset the Disney people. People are very angry at me for wearing a sports bra to Disney. Um, the point of that post was that there were many people in Disney wearing much less clothing than I was," she said.
"I had nothing showing other than my stomach and my arms. But yet you guys are acting like I went out naked. Anyone that goes to the gym knows that it's totally fine to walk around with a sports bra and leggings on."
The woman says that she was so happy to be at Disney World, before getting criticized for her outfit.
'Was so happy to be here that I didn't realize I was 'improperly dressed' and would be forced to buy a $45 tshirt or else I could not get on the ride I waited an hour for.'
Some, though, have claimed that the woman was actually wearing an inappropriate outfit, despite it being what she wears most days.
'I'm a Disney person. Your explanation and acknowledgment of not knowing the dress code is more than enough. They do try and be more family friendly than say Busch Gardens or Six Flags," one fan wrote.
'It's fine for you, but it's just not for Disney. I can get it, it's HOT in florida. They are sensitive about outfits that look too close to the characters too! I hope you had a great time!' one fan added.
