Contrary to her earlier comment, she praised Ramoji Film City as a 'very professional environment', and said that it is completely safe for families and children.

On Monday, Kajol took to X (previously Twitter), to share a note addressing her remark about Ramoji Film City. She wrote, 'I wish to address my earlier remark about Ramoji Film City in the context of promoting my film MAA. I have filmed multiple projects at Ramoji Film City and stayed there many times over the years. I have always found it to be a very professional environment for filmmaking and I have seen so many tourists enjoying themselves. It's a great destination and absolutely safe for families and children."

Reacting to her latest tweet, one netizen applauded her and wrote, 'Thank you for your thoughtful clarification, Kajol ma'am. Your grace in addressing the matter is truly admirable," while another one wrote, 'Kajol, please stop clarifying to the people who don't need a reason to hate you. What Did Kajol Say About Ramoji Film City During Maa Promotions?
In an interview with Galatta India, Kajol was asked if she had ever sensed a negative energy in real life. 'I have experienced this multiple times," she said. 'Call it negative energy or vibes, but sometimes, when you go to a place, you feel like something isn't right. I've shot at places where I couldn't sleep all night. I felt like it would be better if I just left." She then named Ramoji Film City as a 'prime example," saying, 'It's considered one of the most haunted places in the world. I've been lucky not to have seen anything paranormal, though." A section of netizens accused her of sensationalizing superstition for the sake of film promotions.
