But Nick Cassidy decided to take his celebration to another level. After clinching victory at the Shanghai International Circuit on Sunday, Cassidy stood alongside his teammates, team principal, and technical staff—and began singing the famous song Love Story by Taylor Swift. Nick Cassidy is a Swiftie FIA Formula E's official Instagram handle shared the heartwarming video of Nick Cassidy celebrating the Shanghai race win in Taylor Swift's style. It was shared with the caption: "Our favourite Love Story is @jaguarracing and this podium. Celebrating Cassidy's P1 performance in their traditional team style. @ #ShanghaiEPrix #FormulaE #Motorsport #Racing." Cassidy sang these lyrics with infectious energy, adding to the already electric atmosphere of his race-winning moment: "Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone. I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run. You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess. It's a love story, baby, just say, 'Yes'." Cassidy's fans seem to have been obsessed with the video. A fan reacted to the video, saying, 'Wait that's not Taylor's…OH WAIT! SING IT LOUDER.' Jaguar Racing's Instagram handle called it 'Shanghai - Nick's Version'. A fan also wrote, 'The Absolute Best!!! So emotional every time I see this! Nick's first win this season and the weekend she reclaimed her masters! It was meant to be!' A fan also said, 'Apparently motorsports and Taylor Swift/ being a swifty is a match made in heaven.' 'How can you not love this?' asked another fan. 'I just watched this 50 times in a row,' revealed a fan. Nick Cassidy's girlfriend reacted to his win The win at the Shanghai International Circuit marked Cassidy's first victory of the season. Although he had recently finished on the podium in Monaco, he was hungry for more. After the triumph, Cassidy's rumoured girlfriend Nathalia Soliani also took to Instagram to congratulate him. 'Awwwn amazing,' she wrote, along with a fire and red heart emoji. An elated Cassidy also shared a series of photos on Instagram. 'Pole and Win in Shanghai! It's been a while but the champagne tastes just as good. My crew,' he said. Nick Cassidy was a relieved man as he stood on the third spot on the podium at the Monaco E-Prix Round 7 on Sunday. The Jaguar TCS Racing driver confessed he was actually 'jumping up and down' on the inside as he reached the podium for the first time this season. A day after the race, Cassidy made multiple attempts to at least share a post to mark his first Formula E win of the year before finally dropping a bunch of stunning pictures on his Instagram page. Nick Cassidy shares glimpses of his podium win and personal life Nick Cassidy shared a picture of himself holding the trophy at the Monaco E-Prix Round 7 on Instagram on Monday, along with several stunning pictures of his family and more. He wrote, 'Not on here much these days.. No other way around it - been a super tough start to the year and it's great to have an awesome Podium in Monaco with @jaguarracing. 3 years in a row on the steps at home is super special. Thanks to all those in my corner.' Just before dropping the post, he took to his Instagram Stories to share a screenshot of his many attempts at making an Instagram post to assure his followers that he was trying to share at least one post on the special occasion. Nick had won the Monaco E-Prix once in 2023 when he was racing for Envision Racing and had taken the second podium spot in 2024 with Jaguar TCS Racing. Nick Cassidy picked his way through the field from 14th position on the grid to third spot on the podium in the Monaco E-Prix Round 7. He capitalised on a strong energy advantage built early on in the race to yield late progress as he neared the finish line and ended third. Sharing his first reaction after the race, Nick Cassidy said: 'It feels very very sweet. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now I can't fault my guys - it's been an extremely tough start to the year, it's no secret I've not been the happiest guy at times, but this one feels like a big monkey off the shoulders and I'm really proud of everyone's efforts. On the inside I'm jumping up and down, I'm very very happy - it doesn't get more special than here. Obviously the last couple of years have been nice to us here and it's super special to carry that on.'
