Last Updated: IIT Mandi is offering a one-month course in Robotics, AI and Internet of Things (IoT) programme in which classes will run for five to six hours daily. IIT Mandi is offering a one-month course in Robotics, AI and Internet of Things (IoT) programme in which classes will run for five to six hours daily. This is a one-month immersive residential training programme. This course is being run under the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) of IIT Mandi. Application for the course can be done by visiting the official website, The course will commence on June 16 and classes will be held on campus. According to the official announcement, PRAYAS (Promoting and Accelerating Young and Aspiring Students) is an initiative of IIT Mandi, which aims to develop innovation, technical proficiency in students. It was launched in the year 2022. Programme Structure Week 1 – Robotics, AI and IoT Fundamentals Week 2 – Use of AI and Machine Learning in Robotics Week 3 – IoT for Robotics and Cloud Connectivity Programme fee The total fee for this one-month programme is Rs 62400. This includes the cost of staying in the hostel. In this, faculty members of IIT Mandi will take classes for five to six hours daily. It includes interactive lectures, case discussions, assignments, quizzes and guided capstone projects requiring extra effort. The Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu, (IIT Jammu) has introduced a BTech course in Engineering Physics. With 25 seats, admission will be completed through the JEE Advanced 2025 scores, via JoSAA counselling. The curriculum of IIT Jammu covers semiconductors, quantum sensors, quantum computers, batteries, and solar cells, other than theoretical, experimental, and computational coursework, including nano and micro-fabrication and computational materials design. –Semiconductor fabrication –VLSI chip design –Photonic Device Design –Quantum Computing & communication –Design Quantum Algorithms Students who join the IIT Jammu course will get access to opportunities in academia, industry, and government research organisations.
