Brazil Concert Band kicks off summer concerts over the weekend
BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Brazil Concert Band held their first performance of the season over the weekend.
The Brazil band has roots dating back all the way to 1858.
One band member has been in the local concert band playing the French horn for over 50 years.
'I've always loved music and it's kind of a family thing,' said longtime band member Darla Scherb. 'My dad was in the band for years and years and I wanted to join. We have some really great crowds here.'
The Brazil Concert Band plays all throughout the summer and will wrap up at the end of August.
