Road work to begin over Eleven Mile Creek Bridge in Escambia County, Florida
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Road work is set to begin on Kingsfield Road, also known as County Road 186, over the Eleven Mile Creek Bridge on the eastbound lane. Medical emergency leads to crash in Escambia County, Florida, FHP says The work is set to begin Tuesday, May 27, according to an Escambia County, Florida, news release. The road will be restricted to one lane as crews work on repairs to the guardrail and other general maintenance. Drivers are encouraged to be cautious as traffic over the bridge will be limited to one lane with workers present. Local traffic as well as pedestrians, and residents should not expect to lose access to properties in the area but may experience road and driveway blockages from equipment and materials. The maintenance is expected to be complete in approximately 45 days, but may be subject to change depending on weather. Wyandotte Street East to be closed for road work
Wyandotte Street East is set to be closed beginning on Monday for around 21 days. The road closure will take place from Marentette Avenue to Parent Avenue. Marentette will also close from Wyandotte to Tuscarora Street. Road work will consist of pavement, sidewalk, and street rehabilitation. During this time, no local traffic will be permitted. The construction is expected to finish on May 30, weather permitting.

Details regarding the crash are unclear. Crews are still working to assess the damage and said a timeline for repairs will be released soon. MORE ROAD WORK: SC 290 bridge over I-85 closure rescheduled due to weather Detour Routes Eastbound Traffic Commuters traveling east on Pleasant Hill Road, or S-23-114 should take Lister Road, or L-1928 to Highway 14, or SC-14, then turn right onto Highway 14 and proceed to Highway 414, or SC-414 westbound. Highway 414 will take drivers back to Pleasant Hill Road on the right. Westbound Traffic Drivers traveling west on Pleasant Hill Road, or S-23-114 will take Highway 414, or SC-414 east to Highway 14, or SC-14, turn left onto Highway 14, or SC-14 and continue to the intersection of Lister Road, or L-1928 and then turn left onto and proceed to Pleasant Hill Road.
