UAE: 24 crew members rescued after oil tanker collision in Gulf of Oman
Twenty-four crew members from the oil tanker ADALYNN were rescued on Tuesday (June 17), the UAE's Coast Guard division of the National Guard confirmed.
The emergency evacuation occurred following a maritime collision.
According to the National Guard, the incident occurred 24 nautical miles off the country's coast in the Gulf of Oman, involving the ADALYNN and another vessel.
In response, search and rescue boats were swiftly deployed to the scene.
All crew members were safely evacuated and transported to the Port of Khor Fakkan.
