Katherine Ryan pokes fun at the realities of pregnancy as she congratulates glam Sophie Habboo on her maternity wardrobe whilst 'I sweat and wish for ankles'

Katherine Ryan poked fun at herself as she congratulated Sophie Habbo on her pregnancy with husband Jamie Laing. The Canadian comedian, 41, took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday with a hilarious expectations vs reality photo. She shared a snap of Sophie, 30, looking glam at a wedding in a green dress that showed off her blossoming baby bump. In complete contrast, Katherine shared a bare-faced snap of herself as she posed in her kitchen with her baby bump. She penned on the post: '@Sophiehabboo congratulations on your impending arrival and I will cherish a summer of coveting your maternity style while I'm sweating under a hat wishing for ankles.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Sophie reposted the snap to her Instagram Stories, writing: 'Hahaahah!!!' Just last week, Katherine revealed she's expecting her fourth baby. The beauty is expecting with her husband Bobby Kootstra with whom she has been in a civil partnership with since 2019. Katherine is already mum to Fred, three daughter Fenna, two, with Bobby, as well as 15-year-old Violet from a previous relationship. She has been open about her fertility struggles in recent years, revealing in 2024 that she had had three miscarriages in five years. Speaking in November, Katherine admitted she would love to have more kids – but was worried about her age. 'I'm old. I used to think I was going to be the babies' dad because I'm working but actually I'm like their grandmother,' she quipped at the time. 'My back hurts, sometimes I give them treats. I'm like a fun grandma.' The comedian also revealed in March 2025 that she was battling melanoma for the second time. She made the revelation in her podcast, Telling Everybody Everything, explaining she paid to have mole removed from her arm and learned it was cancerous. She added that she required more surgery to ensure the entire mass has been removed. The star is gearing up for another busy period of work, embarking on her Battleaxe comedy tour this month. She also hosts multiple podcasts, including her most recent What's My Age Again? - a 'refreshing and humorous take on ageing, wellness, and self-discovery.' The TV star revealed in 2022 that she had kept her second pregnancy a secret, because she was scared it would lead to her losing work. She was eight months pregnant when she presented ITV's Ready To Mingle, a fact that she hid from everyone. Katherine and her husband Bobby have been together since 2018, but have known each other since they were children as they grew up together in Canada . Childhood sweethearts, the two parted ways initially before rekindling their romance this side of the Atlantic. The couple revealed in the latest series of the family's reality show that they 'wanted the option of having a fourth [child].' The series saw the couple exploring their marriage through therapy before visiting a fertility clinic. Katherine admitted in the scenes which aired in February that she knew conceiving a fourth child would be challenging thanks to both her and Bobby's age. 'It's not that surprising that over-40 women have fewer follicles than we once did,' said Katherine. 'But we talk a lot about male fertility as well, which is on a steep decline. But I would still like a fourth baby. We are so blessed to have the kids that we do have. Having children is not for everyone, but I personally really like making people. I think it's a superpower, if you can do it.' She explained at the time how she and her husband had never previously struggled with getting pregnant but had suffered multiple losses. 'We've always gotten pregnant with the babies quite quickly. I've been pregnant five times in five years, but that also means I've had three miscarriages in five years and the likelihood of that increases as you get older,' she explained. 'You have to find a balance between what you can personally stand and risks you're willing to take. I'm working a lot and I don't know if I could have a medical emergency like that while I'm in Lisbon on Thursday.'

Pregnant Rihanna shows off her baby bump in a racy cut-out dress that flaunts her legs as she steps out with partner A$AP Rocky in Cannes

She pushed the boundaries of maternity style with her first two pregnancies. And as Rihanna expects her third child she stepped out in yet another daring look while out and about in Cannes with her partner A$AP Rocky during the film festival on Tuesday. The singer, 37, and the rapper, 36, revealed they were expecting their third child together at this year's Met Gala earlier this month. Rihanna - who already has sons RZA, two, and Riot, 21 months, with A$AP - looked sensational in a racy black cut-out dress as she headed out in the south of France. The revealing number showed off her changing shape and had a thigh-split that flaunted her pins and gorgeous curves. By her side A$AP looked smart in a long brown coat and shades. It comes after on Monday night Rihanna showed off her blossoming baby bump yet again as she supported A$AP at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of his new movie Highest 2 Lowest. She looked happy and healthy as she made a typically late arrival to the red carpet. The star looked great in a ruffled blue dress and strappy heels as her partner sweetly put her arms around her. They were hit by some bad weather in Cannes however as they walked some of the red carpet in the pouring rain. A$AP looked smart by her side as he showed off his sense of style in a black suit and shades. Highest 2 Lowest is directed by Spike Lee and follows the story of a music mogul who faces a life-and-death moral dilemma when he gets caught up in a ransom plot. It stars Denzel Washington, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jeffrey Wright, Ice Spice (in her film debut), and A$AP. Earlier this month Rihanna insisted her new album won't be delayed too much by her pregnancy. She confirmed the happy news at the Met Gala and some fans were wondering if it will impact her long awaited record. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the Umbrella hitmaker was asked if the album - which has been dubbed 'R9' - will be 'put on pause even longer'. She said back: 'No, maybe a couple of videos.' Fans have been waiting nine years for the collection, but RiRi hinted plans are still in place. She then quipped: 'I can sing!' Rihanna also revealed she isn't 'too overwhelmed' by her pregnancy, although there was some initial shock. She added: 'I'm good! I'm shockingly feeling ok, and not too overwhelmed at the moment. At first it was kinda like, 'Ahhh!' ' In the meantime, fans are still waiting for the follow-up to 2016's Anti. While details are few and far between, in February she offered a tease of what fans can expect from the album. She told Harper's BAZAAR magazine: 'I've been in the studio the whole eight years. But it didn't hit me. I was searching for it. 'I went through phases of what I wanted to do. 'This kind of album, not that album'. I know it's not going to be anything that anybody expects. 'And it's not going to be commercial or radio, digestible. It's going to be where my artistry deserves to be right now. I feel like I've finally cracked it, girl!' Rihanna insisted there was 'no genre' for the album, and she has been determined to make the next batch of songs something 'matching [her] evolution'. She added: 'After a while, I looked at it, and I was like, this much time away from music needs to count for the next thing everyone hears. 'It has to count. It has to matter. I have to show them the worth in the wait. 'I cannot put up anything mediocre. After waiting eight years, you might as well just wait some more.' At the Met ET's reporter then asked whether Rihanna and her boyfriend, ASAP Rocky, had any other news to share, like a secret wedding. 'No, girl, you don't know I keep secrets very well,' the Fenty Beauty founder replied.
