Fakeeh Care awards $27mln contract for new medical centre in Jeddah

Dr. Soliman Abdel Kader Fakeeh Hospital Company (Fakeeh Care) has broken ground on a new medical center in Al Zahra district in Jeddah. The company awarded a 101.8 million Saudi riyals ($27.14 million) construction contract to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Advanced Horizons Contracting Company, Fakeeh Care said in a statement to the Saudi stock exchange on Sunday. The project's construction and finishing cost will be funded by Yaser Yousef Naghi for Investment Company (lessor) as part of the deal. In October 2024, Fakeeh Care signed an agreement with Yaser Yousuf Naghi to build and lease a medical centre in Al Zahra district. No project completion was given. (Editing by Anoop Menon) (

Coroner: Man dies weeks after Spartanburg multi-car crash

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A man has died on Friday following a collision that happened in early May. Related video: Breaking down 5 common driving myths The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office said they responded to a call at the Spartanburg Medical Center where a car crash victim succumbed to his injuries. The victim was identified as 54-year-old Scott Trisler, of Duncan. Trisler was involved in a three car crash that happened on May 6. The collision happened on Highway 290, near the intersection of E. HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Straub Benioff Medical Center is undergoing a massive transformation, according to Hawaiʻi Pacific Health. Hawaiʻi Pacific Health says the HMSA pledged $4 million to build a new facility on South King Street, marking their largest gift to Hawaiʻi Pacific Health and the first to Straub Benioff. 2 injured in Liberty County shooting

LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — Two people were reportedly injured in a shooting in Liberty County Friday. The two were shot when they fired at each other during a dispute, Liberty County Sheriff's Office Maj. Quincy Melvin said. It occurred around 8 p.m. on the 100 block of Paulaski Street.
