A Harvard University academic who met with top Chinese officials including Foreign Minister Wang Yi said he expects the US and China to agree to a memorandum of understanding on trade as early as next week.
Conversations between China and the US are 'very intense currently,' Graham Allison, government professor at Harvard who once studied with Henry Kissinger and served in both the Clinton and Reagan administrations, said Thursday during a panel at a World Economic Forum meeting in the Chinese city of Tianjin.
