Five officials face sexual assault allegations
Sindhanur (Raichur): A complaint was filed at the city police station against a junior assistant employed at the Mini Vidhana Soudha and four village administrators, accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the city.
"When I visited the private room of the APMC to repay the Rs 4 lakh loan taken for my daughter's marriage, I was sexually assaulted by the five men," the victim stated in her complaint.
"I possess land valued in crores of rupees. Rajabhakshi, a junior assistant at the mini Vidhana Soudha, facilitated the loan after the village administrators Mallikarjuna Gaded, Bandenavaj Nidagundi, Mrityunjaya, and Anand drafted a land purchase agreement.
Despite being govt employees, they represented their employment as a sole proprietorship in the contract letter," she claimed in her complaint.
This incident has sparked concerns among govt employees, who have raised concerns regarding the allegations outlined in the complaint. Meanwhile, the police, who prepared the FIR, declined to share additional details as the investigation is ongoing. However, no arrests were made thus far.
