Moviegoer spots X-rated word in cinema seating plan for kids' movie

One Sydney moviegoer received quite the shock recently after attempting to buy tickets to a children's film. Reddit user Alphasierra took to the social media platform this week to share the results of a rather X-rated prank. The user was attempting to buy tickets for the 2025 live-action reboot of the animated children's hit How To Train Your Dragon, but was surprised when checking out. They shared an image that showed the cinema seating plan displayed when buying tickets. The image showed the seating plan with red squares marked, indicating reserved seats. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. However, one cheeky prankster, or pranksters had reserved a selection of seats that spelled out the word 'p***s' on the seat allocation screen. 'Trying to book how to train your dragon tickets in why lol,' the Redditor captioned the post. The post was met with a flurry of comments from fellow moviegoers, with many suggesting this might not have been the best session to watch the film. 'Yeeeeeah don't go to that screening. Something tells me it will be an irritating crowd, one commented. Another chimed in with a joking: 'Some 14 year old had a lot of money to spare with a lot of friends,' while one replied with a similar: 'Sounds like a Private School boys else would have the money?' A fourth made light of the slightly misshapen 'P' in the word with: 'Everyone's so judgemental about eEnis' birthday movie treat with his friends.' Many saw the funny side of the risqué prank with one movie fan chiming in with: 'Haha best thing I've seen in a while! Thanks for sharing.' Meanwhile, others were quick to draw comparisons to the mayhem that ensued in cinemas across the globe during recent screenings of A Minecraft Movie. They shared an image that showed the cinema seating plan that is displayed when buying tickets. However, one cheeky prankster, or pranksters had reserved a selection of seats that would spell out the word 'p***s' on the seat allocation screen 'It sounds like movie crowds have been really irritating since that whole Minecraft movie crap,' one offered. 'I get it, teens are annoying, but I'm pretty sure we weren't this obnoxious when I was a teen.' A Minecraft Movie, which first hit screens on April 3, has inspired multiple mid-show riots over the line 'chicken jockey' - and it's going viral on social media. In a number of TikTok videos, teenagers can be seen jumping up and down on their seats, taking off their shirts, throwing popcorn and streamers across the cinema and screaming at the top of their lungs as soon as a scene plays showing a zombie riding a chicken in a boxing ring. Those familiar with the game, that the film is based on, will know that a 'chicken jockey' is a rare occurrence. It's a rare mob - Minecraft lingo for monster - that happens when a baby zombie appears to ride a chicken and, according to the Minecraft Game wiki, only has a five per cent chance of occurring during the game. So, when it plays out in the movie, fans of the game become pretty excited at the rare sighting. There have even been incidents where security has been called and the movie stopped, thanks to the rowdy behaviour the film elicits. Meanwhile, others were quick to draw comparisons to they mayhem that ensued in cinemas across the globe during recent screenings of A Minecraft Movie In one video posted to TikTok by Aussie social media user @tahliaclaireg, the cinema was left in a state with popcorn across the seats, toilet paper strewn across the floor and even a 'wet floor' sign lying in the mess. She captioned the post: 'Aftermath of the Minecraft Movie (security called and movie stopped).' Fans of the film have taken to social media to respond to the now-viral trend, documenting the chaos that unfolds in the cinemas while empathising with the staff who have to clean up the mess. 'How I imagine it feels to be a cinema employee rn, hearing people scream "CHICKEN JOCKEY!" all day,' one person wrote. 'People at the cinema going crazy over the "Chicken Jockey" scene,' another noted. One person chimed in: 'Asked the poor theatre attendant how many times he heard chicken jockey and he looked at me like this.' How To Train Your Dragon, meanwhile is a live action reboot of the classic 2010 Dreamworks Animation film.
