Plymouth man wins $1 million lottery prize
DORCHESTER, Mass. (WWLP) – A Plymouth resident has struck big, winning a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery's '$2,000,000 50X Cashword' instant ticket game.

David Mulligan of Plymouth claimed his prize at the Lottery's Dorchester headquarters, where he was accompanied by his son, Joseph.
Mulligan chose to receive his winnings as a one-time lump sum payment of $650,000 before taxes. With his newfound fortune, Mulligan shared plans to buy a new boat and treat his grandson.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Mobil gas station located at 109 Court St. in Plymouth. As a result of selling the lucky ticket, the store will receive a $10,000 bonus.
