I'm bawling after a new nail tech completely bodged my mani – it's not what I asked for at all, I hate my ‘duck' talons
A WOMAN has been left bawling after getting her nails done at a new salon and being left with 'duck bill' talons.
She explained that she used to be a regular visitor to the nail shop - with dipped almond nails being her design of choice - but had taken a break for a few years.

So, as a treat, her mum decided to treat her and her sister to a mani pedi.
They went to a nail tech they'd not used before, and the woman was less than impressed when she saw the results.
"We went to this place I'd never been before and after the guy was done, I wanted to cry," she wrote.
"I hate them so much!"
She also shared a picture she'd shown the man for inspiration - a square shape in black - before showing what she'd been left with.
"Am I overreacting or are they as bad as I think?" she asked in the Reddit post.
She also titled the post: "My boyfriend says they're not that bad but I'm crying".
"I am. I hate them so much," the woman sighed.
"Your nail tech should be in jail!" another said.

"Yeah sweetie, they are awful and I'm so sorry," a third wrote.
"They are everything I'm afraid of happening when I get my nails done.
"Duck bills, and lumpy at that!"
While someone else told the woman "they're as bad as you think".
"They're not what you asked for at all! I'd try to get a refund or some of my money back/ dispute the charge/ simply just take the loss and never return to that place again!"
"I'm taking the loss," the lady replied.
"My mum paid for them and I really would have asked for a redo but we were going to lunch after and the place is 40 minutes away from where I live.
"I'm going to go to my usual place to hopefully get them fixed."
"I've never seen a nail look pregnant. I'm so sorry," another hilariously wrote.
"They gave you clubbed nails," someone else exclaimed.
"Your bf is just trying to spare your feelings and save himself a fight.
"Go get those fixed asap they are unacceptable!"
As others admitted they'd been left stunned by the picture of the finished nails.
"Nothing could have prepared me for that second pic," one wrote.
"My jaw literally dropped - I wasn't prepared," another siad.
"I expected something at least close to the first pic!"
