The film showed a steady stand at the box office and collected almost what it earned on its opening day. It also surpassed the two-day collection of 'Oppenheimer'.The Tom Cruise film opened at Rs 16.5 crore nett (around Rs 21 crore gross) in India on Saturday, and earned Rs 16.5 crore nett on Sunday as well, taking the two-day total to Rs 33 crore. After its two-day run in India, 'Oppenheimer' collected Rs 31.5 crore nett, as reported by trade website 'MI:8' has emerged as the biggest non-Marvel, non-Avatar Hollywood opener in India by surpassing the first-day business of 'Oppenheimer'. The Cillian Murphy film, which was released last year, opened at around Rs 14.5 crore nett (around 17.25 crore gross). 'Mission: Impossible-The Final Reckoning' is looking at a fabulous weekday business in India, and the collections are only expected to grow in its second weekend, given the glowing reviews that the film has received from both the audiences and the Christopher McQuarrie directorial registered the eighth-biggest opening for a non-Indian film in the country.
