Avianca launches nonstop service between Dallas and Bogotá
Avianca has launched nonstop service between Dallas and Bogotá, operating four times per week. The route offers more than 1,400 weekly seats aboard Airbus A320 aircraft, each with a 180-passenger capacity. 'With this new route between Dallas and Bogotá, we now offer 19 direct routes from Colombia to nine U.S. destinations, with more than 170 weekly flights scheduled for the June 2025 peak travel season,' said Frederico Pedreira , CEO of Avianca. Etihad will start Abu Dhabi-Charlotte service next year
Etihad Airways will launch nonstop service between Abu Dhabi and Charlotte, N.C., in May 2026. The route will operate four times weekly with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft configured with business and economy cabins. Charlotte will become Etihad's sixth U.S. gateway, joining New York, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. Atlanta service starts July 2. In addition, the carrier announced an agreement to purchase 28 Boeing widebody planes, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2028.
