Jennifer Lopez Gets Stitched Up After Injuring Nose During AMAs Rehearsals

Jennifer Lopez has bounced back from a nose injury she sustained during rehearsals for the 2025 American Music Awards. The singer and actress, who is set to host the ceremony, shared a series of Instagram Story posts recounting the saga that resulted in an emergency visit to Dr. Jason B. Diamond, a plastic surgeon based in Beverly Hills. 'Thank you for stitching me up Dr. Diamond,' Lopez said. 'A week later and a whole lotta ice, I'm good as new.' In the accompanying images, she held an ice pack to the bridge of her nose, where a red wound appeared on her face. Lopez didn't specify how the injury occurred, only that it happened during rehearsals for the awards show scheduled for Monday, May 26. Jennifer Lopez's heavily filtered selfie sparks concern after nose injury

Jennifer Lopez sparked concern among fans after sharing a filtered selfie on Saturday, sparking claims that her nose injury hasn't healed ahead of the 2025 American Music Awards. The singer, 55, suffered a few injuries while getting ready to host the AMAs, which are set to take place on May 26 in Las Vegas. Luckily, Jennifer has a team of expert makeup artists at her disposal who will hopefully have her camera-ready by Monday's televised ceremony. Are you ok? Jennifer Lopez shared a filtered selfie after suffering a nasty cut on her nose during rehearsals for her hosting gig at the American Music Awards Jennifer captioned the post: 'OMW to rehearsals.' On Friday, she flashed a new bruise on her arm in a black-and-white photo from an Instagram post. She most likely got injured during rehearsals as she was pictured inside a dance studio. 'So this happened,' she wrote. In a follow-up snap, she clarified the extent of her injury and said it happened 'during @amas rehearsals'. She told People on Friday: 'I hurt my nose. I hit it in rehearsal and I had to get stitches. It was fine. A few of us have gotten hurt in rehearsals. ' We're doing a very high-energy athletic number so it's, I guess, bound to happen.' 'Thank you for stitching me up Dr. Diamond,' she wrote in her caption. 'A week later and a whole lotta ice, I'm good as new.' Last month in April, it was announced that Jennifer would be returning to host the AMAs a decade after she last helmed the awards show. 'We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Lopez back to host the American Music Awards,' Jay Penske, the CEO of Dick Clark Productions, said at the time via a press release. He added: 'Jennifer's incredible talent and incomparable stage presence make her the ideal host of the show. We know she will bring her one-of-a-kind energy to the official kick off celebration of summer.'
