HM the Sultan hosts, bids farewell to Iranian President
Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today hosted a private luncheon in honour of President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran at Al Alam guesthouse in celebration of the president's official visit to the Sultanate of Oman. The luncheon was attended by several Royal Family members and ministers from both sides. After the luncheon, His Majesty the Sultan bid farewell to the Iranian President, wishing him a safe return home.

Lebanese PM Nawaf Salam to visit Cairo in July
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met with Egypt's Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa, at the Grand Serail to discuss preparations for his upcoming official visit to Cairo in the first week of July. Following the meeting, Ambassador Moussa said the talks focused on arrangements for the Higher Joint Committee between Lebanon and Egypt, which is currently being organized. He emphasized a shared desire to make this round of the committee distinct from previous ones by ensuring that any agreements and memoranda signed are practical and directly address the needs of both countries. "We hope the next phase will be dedicated to reviewing documents, projects, and agreements that can be signed and implemented. Prime Minister Salam is highly invested in this visit and has already assigned officials to handle its preparations," Moussa stated. The ambassador also invited Salam to attend the opening of Egypt's Grand Egyptian Museum in early July—an event marking a month full of significant engagements between Lebanon and Egypt.

Iranian President to visit Oman on Tuesday
Muscat: The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran will pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement :"To consolidate the long-standing friendly relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Iran, and to support existing bilateral cooperation, His Excellency Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman the day after tomorrow, Tuesday. During the visit, several areas and aspects of mutual interest will be discussed."
