One-year-old baby in hospital after dog attack
A one-year-old baby is among three people in hospital after a dog attack in Greater Manchester.
Police, including armed officers, attended the scene on Baslow Road in the Haughton Green area of Denton just before 6pm on Thursday. Paramedics and the air ambulance also attended.
The condition of the injured people remains unknown.
Witnesses claimed people were left 'covered in blood' following the incident.
One told MailOnline: 'One person close to the incident said, 'There's people covered in blood and a baby's been taken to hospital.
'There were others who looked injured. A dog section and armed police went in with guns.'
Another witness claimed the baby had 'horrific' facial injuries.
The road remains closed off while police inquiries continue.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: 'We were called to Baslow Road, Denton, at around 5.50pm May 29 to reports several people had been attacked by a dog.
'Three people, a one-year-old child and two adults, are in hospital being treated for their injuries.'
