The Celtics collapsed against Knicks in Game 1. Then they did it again.
The Boston Celtics completed a 20-point collapse against the New York Knicks in Game 1 at TD Garden on Monday by being unable to get up a game-tying shot on the final possession of a 108-105 overtime loss. With that bitter defeat still fresh in their minds, the defending champions returned Wednesday to complete another 20-point collapse against the Knicks on their home floor in Game 2 by failing to attempt a game-winning shot on the final possession of a 91-90 defeat.
