The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a serious crash that happened just before 5 a.m. Saturday morning in the west St. Louis County area. The crash involved a tractor trailer and a black passenger car that left the scene before troopers arrived. The impact of the crash caused the truck to overturn, prompting a major response. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured. As of 5:50 a.m. Saturday, the Missouri State Highway Patrol say the ramp from eastbound I-44 to Highway 141 is expected to remain closed for the next four to six hours. Two crews are working to upright the truck and trailer, but drivers should expect significant delays in the area through the morning. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
