Police investigating suspicious death in Châteauguay, Que.
Quebec provincial police are investigating what they describe as a suspicious death on Montreal's South Shore Wednesday.
Around 3 p.m., local police were called to a home on Jules-Dumouchel Street in Châteauguay, Que., located southwest of Montreal.
At the scene, officers found a woman who was unresponsive, according to a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ). Police later confirmed her death.
A person of interest was later intercepted in Saint-Stanislas, Que., about 230 kilometres northeast of Châteauguay. Investigators are expected to meet with the man.
