Fans turn on Married at First Sight star after sponsored pregnancy announcement: 'Disgusting to use your child as a walking advertisement'
Fans have weighed in on Ella Ding 's controversial 'pregnancy announcement ad'.
The Married at First Sight bride was joined by her husband Guy Palermo on Tuesday as they shared news that they were expecting.
Ella and her hubby can be seen in a series of photos including a positive Clearblue pregnancy test.
'Somewhere between healing and hustling, the next chapter quietly chose us,' Ella captioned her post.
'Baby Palermo you've already made our story sweeter & given us the best news of 2025 yet.'

Ella also included the information '#ad #ClearblueConfirmed,' and consumer advice, 'Always read the label and follow the directions for use.'
The announcement was re-posted by the @ Instagram page.
The post was met with mixed feelings from followers of the controversial bride who has built a high profile on social media since appearing in MAFS 2022.
'Nooo this feels off being an ad. Is this the official announcement? Congratulations either way,' wrote one follower.
'Congrats! However does anyone else feel we are living in a capitalist nightmare with a pregnancy announcement being an ad?' suggested another fan.
One angry follower responded: 'Stop normalising this behaviour, not EVERYONE does this.
'It screams "attention" and is absolutely disgusting to use your child as a walking advertisement before they are even born. Show some class.'
'Talk about exploiting a child … starts from the moment of conception ,' agreed another user.
Added one follower: 'A paid ad to announce your first pregnancy? The last thing that should be on the mind is how can I make money out of announcing I'm pregnant.
'Each to their own but feels a bit off.'
Several celebrities, meanwhile, offered their congratulations, including MAFS coach Mel Schilling, Tammy Hembrow and social media star Sarah Jane Roza.
It comes after Domenica Calarco has called out former best friend Ella for announcing her pregnancy with a sponsored post.
Ella took to Instagram on Tuesday morning to announce the exciting news alongside a series of photos including a positive Clearblue pregnancy test.
Domenica took to the comments section to slam Ella for 'monetising on her pregnancy'.
'Even has to monetise her pregnancy announcement. Some people will never change. Wow,' she wrote.
Ella's pregnancy announcement comes two months after her ex-best friend, podcast co-host and MAFS co-star Domenica announced she was expecting her first child.
In March, Domenica posted a series of clips showing her positive pregnancy test, her ultrasound and telling her friends and family.
The 32-year-old captioned the sweet post: 'Been a little MIA working on my greatest project
She added: 'Due September 2025 #pregnancyannouncement #pregnancy #pregnant.'
Days after her announcement, Domenica exclusively confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that she will be raising her child as a single mum, as she addressed the break up rumours with Bondi skater Jarod Bogunovich.
Domenica and Ella pulled the plug on their podcast Sit With Us in August 2024, and rumours have swirled that it was due to an interpersonal conflict.
The controversy erupted after Domenica and Ella faced criticism for their interview with Jack, who previously sparked outrage by telling co-star Jonathan McCullough to 'muzzle' his wife Lauren Dunn during a dinner party.
The interview prompted a heated response from fellow media personality Abbie Chatfield, further intensifying the scrutiny on the podcast hosts at the time.
Domenica and Ella have since unfollowed each other on Instagram, marking the end of their nearly four-year friendship.
The pair confirmed that they are no longer on speaking terms, further fuelling rumours of a rift that have been circulating for months.
The former MAFS stars both addressed the situation, confirming that their once-strong bond had come to a close.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia in September 2024, Ella stated, 'I've got nothing to say but I wish her the best of course, always will. All good things come to an end.'
Meanwhile, Domenica echoed her sentiments, saying, 'We definitely unfollowed each other. I don't even know where to begin.'
