The Traitors confirmed contestant list: Rebel Kid, Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra, Jannat Zubair, Karan Kundrra among 22 celebs on Karan Johar-hosted show
Ever since Amazon Prime Video announced its reality show The Traitors, there have been many speculations around who would be participating in it. A lot of names have also surfaced online, which added more to the curiosity was the show's host, Karan Johar, dropping some names through indirect, yet predictable remarks in the show's announcement video. Now, as the show's trailer drops on Friday, a list of confirmed contestants on the show has been leaked online. In the announcement video, Karan Johar said, 'You think, you've had your dose of betrayals? I only hope you can handle what is coming next. Unexpected twists, merciless backstabbing, and the only thing that can be trusted is betrayal. Presenting The Traitors, I'll be your host…where no one is anyone's real friend. The list of confirmed contestants that has been leaked includes Karan Kundrra, Raj Kundra, Raftaar, Jasmine Bhasin, Jannat Zubair, Harsh Gujral, Uorfi Javed, Mukesh Chhabra, Sudhanshu Pandey, Anshula Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Nikita Luther, Purav Jha, Lakshmi Manchu, Sahil Salathia, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sufi Motivala, Elnaaz Norouzi, Apoorva Mukhija, Janvi Gaur, Elvish Yadav, & Sumukhi Suresh. The show was shot in Rajasthan, Jaisalmer, in September last year. Reportedly, The Traitors is said to be a concoction of Bigg Boss and a few other reality shows. A few reports suggest that while the contestants won't be completely locked up, a lot of drama that unfolds 24X7 between them would be captured. The Traitors will release on Amazon Prime on 12th June, where a new episode will drop every Thursday at 8 pm. The winner of the show will stand a chance to win a prize money of Rs 1 crore.

Amid much anticipation, Vikram 's Tamil action thriller Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 has finally made its way to OTT. Directed by SU Arun Kumar, the film is currently streaming on Prime Video. It is available in five languages – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The action-packed drama boasts a talented bunch of stars including SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dushara Vijayan and Prudhvi Raj. Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 made its digital debut less than a month after its theatrical release. The makers stepped in with the announcement of its arrival on OTT last week. A doting father and husband, the protagonist tries to escape the world of crime but a deadly task takes him back to where he left off. What follows next is a tale of bloodshed, betrayal and raw emotion. Interestingly, the makers also announced the movie's prequel, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 1, which is yet to go on floors. The news left many wondering about the title and the director was also quizzed about the same at the audio launch of the film in March this year. Replying, director SU Arun Kumar, revealed, 'It was Vikram's idea. When I first narrated the script to him, I told him that we could make a sequel to this film, and it was a continuation. And he told me to call it a second part, as it would be an apt title. So, he was the reason behind the title." Veera Dheera Sooran faced legal trouble before its release as production company B4U had approached the Delhi High Court due to a contractual dispute with HR Pictures, who bankrolled the Vikram-starrer.
