Dubai Police close 4 presses for printing illegal massage cards
Four printing presses in Dubai were closed for printing illegal massage cards, Dubai Police announced on Saturday.
Authorities showed photos of staff who were arrested and said 'anyone involved with these printing presses could face legal consequences.'
Dubai Police advised against contacting the numbers found on the massage cards, as doing so could expose individuals to risks such as theft or extortion from those involved in these illegal activities.
Dubai Police confirmed that the General Department of Criminal Investigation had formed a team to receive reports about negative practices related to massage cards, available around the clock.
'This initiative reflects the (our) ongoing commitment to protecting the community and ensuring safety in the emirate while working to eliminate such issues,' added Dubai Police, who also commended community members for their cooperation by actively reporting these practices.
