(Courtesy: Brantford Police Service) If you're stopped by the Brantford Police Service, you might end up on camera. Some officers will start wearing body-worn cameras this week and the service plans to have all officers outfitted by the end of this year. The cameras will be used whenever an officer interacts with the public, including traffic stops, calls for service and other enforcement activities. Civilians will notice the cameras positioned on the officers' uniforms and there will be a display light to indicate when a recording is in progress. The new equipment is being brought in thanks to a provincial grant.
