Celebrated every year, the Dragon Boat Festival in Hong Kong features thrilling races where groups paddle in unison, showcasing their skills and teamwork. Colourful dragon boats, adorned with intricate designs, race against each other along the city's picturesque waterways. Charity plans clean-up event for Southern 100 course
Volunteers are urged to come and help sweep up rubbish from the Isle of Man's Southern 100 course ahead of the Pre-TT Classics Buddies will be handing out cleaning materials from the course headquarters from 18:00 BST for people to help spruce up the 4.25 mile (6.8km) Billown Circuit. The charity said because the event will take place on busy roads children are not encouraged to take part. Beach Buddies will then be taking a break over the TT fortnight, with no further dates planned until 15 June. The break would reduce the need for volunteers to travel on the roads at the what is always the busiest time of the year, it Pre-TT Classics races take place on Thursday and Friday on the Billown Circuit. The outlook for Friday calls for mainly cloudy and a high of 12 C. Saturday will be cloudy and a high of 13 C for the first day of races for Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend. The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 21 C and a low of 9 C.

KERRY Katona has slipped into a glamorous dress and shown off her 2st weight loss during a trip to the races with her daughter. The star, 44, was snapped in a pretty white and pink floral frock and white heels alongside 18-year-old Heidi. 6 Heidi, an aspiring actress and singer, also looked the part in a sophisticated black mini dress and was all smiles next to her mum. Both ladies had their hair loosely curled, had their make-up professionally applied and looked bronzed in the May sunshine. Kerry and Heidi were spotted at Chester Racecourse at the Boodles May Festival Chester Cup Day and seemed in great spirits. The mother and daughter duo were even spotted sipping champagne together and raising their glasses in the VIP area of the stands. Kerry and Heidi were invited to the horse racing by one of the event's sponsors and they were caught on camera as they arrived. While being led through the VIP area, Kerry squealed: "Heidi, this is nice!" Kerry recently lifted the lid on her weight loss and admitted she shed the pounds after her "stressful" break-up from her fiancé Ryan Mahoney. Speaking to The Sun in January, Kerry said: "I just look thinner in real life. "I have no idea how many stone I've lost. I've been doing Panto and the separation – you name it, I've done it. "It's probably the stress, I've been very stressed."
