Bloomington intersection shut down due to concrete spill; motorcyclists warned
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — Motorcycles should avoid the West Washington Street and North Morris Avenue intersection, as sand was put on the road due to a concrete spill. Just before 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, the city of Bloomington announced the intersection had been closed down due to a concrete spill. They urged everyone to avoid the area while clean up is underway and thanked everyone for their patience. Katherine Murphy, a city spokesperson, said that the road is open, but motorcycles should avoid it. 'The intersection is open but has sand on it, specifically motorcycles should avoid,' she said. The Western Wayne Hazardous Materials Response Team was also sent to the scene due to the hazard of the incident. FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (FOX 2) - A tractor trailer leaking ferric chloride has led to a hazmat situation in a Farmington Hills neighborhood. What they're saying Officials say at 5 p.m. on Monday, firefighters were called to a tractor trailer leaking ferric chloride out of the trailer and onto the road. They say since the vehicle leaking the acid stopped on Middlebelt Road just south of Eight Mile Road, the Livonia Fire & Rescue Department were also called to the scene. The Western Wayne Hazardous Materials Response Team was also sent to the scene due to the hazard of the incident. The hazmat technicians wore specialized level A hazmat suits to enter the semi-trailer and stop the leak. The road is closed until further notice, as the trucking company's clean-up crew worked to clean the road.

Overturned lorry blocks and closes B1106 near Bury St Edmunds
An overturned lorry has blocked and closed a road in both eastbound B1106 Marham Parkway carriageway near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, was blocked between Sandlands Drive and the A1101 just before 07:30 BST on emergency services were in attendance and completely closed off the road at 08:30. Suffolk Police said no injuries had been taken from the scene show the overturned lorry resting on the road and being lifted by another vehicle. Northampton A45 closed after gas tanker incident
An incident involving a gas tanker has closed an A-road and left a man with critical injuries, police have east and westbound carriageways of the A45 between Riverside and Barnes Meadow Interchange near Northampton were closed at about 03:10 Police said the incident happened on the eastbound carriageway and the injured man was taken to University Hospital eastbound section is expected to remain closed for several hours, while the force said it was working towards a partial reopening of the westbound side.
