Rhode Islanders enjoying Mother's Day, warm weather
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The warm temperatures and a Sunday afternoon created the perfect mixture for Rhode Islanders to celebrate Mother's Day this year. 'We just went on a river boat cruise in Providence, in the Providence River,' one mom told 12 News when asked how she spent the day. Another mom said she spent time with her family in downtown Providence to enjoy the view and be together. Other people 12 News spoke with also took time to reflect on what the mother figure in their life means to them. 'Very dedicated, she's a great role model,' one person said while describing her mom.
