Princess Andre, 17, sent stark warning as she shows off £30k car just days after passing driving test

PRINCESS Andre has sparked concern amongst her followers after showing off her flash new car. The 17-year-old, who recently passed her driving test, revealed she now has a brand new Audi A1 in white, which is likely to have set her back £30,000. 6 6 Princess's mum - Katie Price - has famously been banned from driving six times in the last ten years after a series of infringements. Sharing a picture of the motor, with a personalised Princess numberplate, the teen wrote: 'I bought my first car.' Her fans rushed to comment on it and while many were full of admiration and impressed she had bought it herself, others were concerned for her safety. One person said: 'Congratulations Bista mou! Wear your seat belt, don't have the music too loud and don't get distracted, most importantly….enjoy!!xx' A second added: 'Drive safely well done . Make sure you obey your fathers rule as you have the best dad in the world.' It seems the plate in the picture is just a dummy one - but fans are concerned it's not. A worried fan commented: 'It's beautiful Princess, Just be safe love, Drive careful. I do think the number plate gives boys a heads up to follow you though. Just be careful and your be fine. Enjoy after all your hard work.' Katie, who shares Princess with ex Peter Andre, previously joked she would make her 17-year-old daughter become her chauffeur. She told us at the time of Princess passing her theory: "Princess has passed her theory, she's got to do her test now, then me and Princess in the car. "I messaged her and said I'm that close to getting you to be my driver." Katie Price's daughter Princess, 17, hints at new business venture after insisting she'll be a millionaire by 20 Peter splashed out £25k on a car for Princess' brother Junior when he passed his test, but it seems Princess really did it all on her own. The pop star is known for being very protective of Princess and has no doubt offered her lots of advice. Princess has vowed to be a millionaire before she turns 20 and she's well on her way. She has already signed brand ambassador deals with high street beauty chain Superdrug and online retailer PrettyLittleThing, and has launched her own jewellery range. She previously said: 'I want to achieve so many things and be my own person. It's about taking my time, figuring it out as I go. I know I want to be very successful. 'I'm going into an industry I really enjoy. This is something I want to do.' 6 6 6 And we recently revealed that Princess has landed her own TV show and will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at her home life and early modelling career. A TV said: 'Princess is very conscious of the fact her mum got famous very early in her career, so Katie is a big inspiration to her. 'Bagging her own TV show is a huge deal, but producers are keen to stress it is about her and not her famous parents. "Both Katie and Peter are likely to feature, though it will likely be more as cameo stars.' 6 Katie's previous driving convictions KATIE Price has been banned from driving six times in the last ten years after a series of infringements. Paw Patrol: Motorbike rider issued eye-watering fine after cops pulled her over for travelling with her pet dog

A dog harness a Queensland woman bought off a discount website so she could take her pet pooch for a ride has earned her a huge fine. The woman who was fitted with full safety gear and the dog - who had none - were stopped on the Sunshine Coast last weekend. Bodycam video of the interaction showed the officer appeared to be amused and chuckled at the unusual passenger, but that didn't stop him from applying to full force of the law. 'Officers from the Sunshine Coast Highway Patrol were conducting routine patrols along Alexandra Parade in Alexandra Headland around 2pm on May 17, when they intercepted the rider,' Queensland Police said. 'What caught their attention wasn't just the bike, but the furry companion perched in front of the handlebars.' The rider, a 35-year-old woman from Maroochydore, was issued a $376 traffic infringement notice for 'riding with an animal between the arms'. Senior Sergeant Shane Panoho from Sunshine Coast Highway Patrol said while officers understand the strong bond people share with their pets, safety is paramount. 'We know how attached some people are to their pets, but it's best to apply a paws-off approach when it comes to our roads,' he said. According to police, the woman had purchased a special harness online designed to secure small pets to the chest. In the video, the woman can heard saying she bought it from Temu. Authorities warned that such setups, while seemingly convenient, could have dangerous consequences. 'The rider had purchased the harness online and did not think through the safety implications, particularly if the dog was to react to other road users, pedestrians or animals,' Senior Sergeant Panoho explained. 'This could place the rider and her pooch in harm's way or put other motorists at risk,' he added. 'Although the dog seemed to be comfortable on the bike, we urge riders to practice safe and responsible behaviour on our roads.' Queensland Police have warned all motorists to ensure any animals are restrained in a way that does not interfere with the rider's control of the vehicle or obstruct their view of the road. Queensland road rules require drivers and riders to have proper control at all times, something that is difficult with a pet in close proximity to the handlebars. Police say while the sight may have amused some bystanders, it could have ended in tragedy if the dog had become startled or caused a distraction. Last year, a Sydney driver was slammed on social media for driving on a 110 kilometre an hour road, with their pet dog in the back of the truck. 'Can somebody driving at 110km/h on a highway keep the dog in an open boot?' a driver who spotted the pooch asked Reddit. Hundreds of commenters were divided on the issue, noting the potential danger if the dog jumped out or the car had to stop suddenly or swerve. Motorists in NSW must ensure pets are safely restrained if travelling in the back of a ute. Drivers can be hit with fines and a possible jail sentence if they do not take measures to ensure the pet is safe. 'Consider safely restraining your dog in the cabin of your ute or open vehicle with a safety-belt restraint as this is generally safer, especially in the case of an accident,' the RSPCA advises.

Silhouettes at country park represent road victims

A poignant temporary memorial has been installed at a country park for visitors who want to remember those who lost their lives or were injured in road crashes. The display at Irchester Country Park includes 32 silhouettes, representing the number of people killed on Northamptonshire's roads in 2024. There are also doves and flags to represent those who received serious or minor injuries. The police officer who came up with the idea lost her own mother in a collision in 2013. PC Emilie Bunkall's mum Julie died in 2013 on the A6 near Burton Latimer. An inquest heard it was likely the woman driving the other car had some kind of blackout. PC Bunkall thought at the time she would be unable to carry on her policing career following the death, but continued because her mother was "incredibly proud of my traffic role". As well as the silhouettes, the display at Irchester, that was created with the help of PC Bunkall's sister, contains 243 doves that represent someone who sustained a serious injury. There are also 1,360 county flags, signifying those who received minor injuries. It took more than eight hours over two days to install the objects alongside floral bouquets provided by a Northampton florist. It is the fourth year PC Bunkall has arranged a memorial. She said the reaction from victims' relatives to last year's display at Abington Park in Northampton was "very emotional". She said: "I wonder each year whether the display is still impactful. However, while we were setting up the display, we had lots of positive interactions with the public - many of whom didn't realise the numbers involved. "One teenager walked past and said 'that's a lot of people!'" The memorial will be in place for a fortnight and relatives can collect the silhouette representing their loved one from PC Bunkall after the display has been removed. Indian government extends closure of 28 Airports until May 15 amid tensions

New Delhi: After Pakistan attempted to attack multiple cities in Northern India using drones, the Ministry of Civil Aviation on Friday extended the closure of 28 airports across the country until 15 May morning from 10 May. A senior government official confirmed that after a meeting with other stakeholders, the decision has been taken and airlines and airport authorities have been informed about it. In their statement, Indigo Airlines mentioned that in accordance with the latest directives from the relevant authorities, all flights to and from the following destinations will remain cancelled until 5.29 am on May 15 due to temporary airport closures. Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar, Leh, Chandigarh, Dharamshala, Bikaner, Rajkot, Jodhpur, and Kishangarh airports will be closed until May 15. These precautionary measures have been instituted with your safety and security as our highest priority. We remain fully committed to providing unwavering support while navigating this situation together, reads the statement. Air India also issued a travel advisory for the passengers. In a social media post on X, they wrote, "Following a notification from aviation authorities on continued closure of multiple airports in India, Air India flights to and from the following stations - Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Bhuj, Jamnagar and Rajkot - are being cancelled till 0529 hrs IST on 15 May, pending further updates. Customers holding valid tickets for travel during this period will be offered a one-time waiver on rescheduling charges or a full refund for cancellations." Meanwhile, in a major escalation along India's western front, the Pakistani army carried out multiple airspace violations and drone intrusions on the night of May 7 and 8, targeting Indian military infrastructure. Addressing a press briefing on Friday, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi revealed that 300 to 400 drones were deployed across 36 locations, with several being shot down by Indian forces using both kinetic and non-kinetic methods. Initial investigations suggest the drones were Turkish-made Asisguard Songar models. Colonel Sofiya Qureshi said during the press briefing, "On the night of May 7 and 8, the Pakistani army violated Indian airspace several times over the entire western border to target military infrastructure. Not only this, the Pakistani army also fired heavy-calibre weapons along the Line of Control. Around 300 to 400 drones were used to attempt infiltration at 36 locations." She added, "The Indian armed forces shot down many of these drones using kinetic and non-kinetic means. The possible purpose of such large-scale aerial intrusions was to test air defence systems and collect intelligence. Forensic investigation of the wreckage of the drones is being done. Initial reports suggest that they are Turkish Asisguard Songar drones..." Escalating its tensions with India, Pakistan targeted Jammu using Hamas-style missiles to target multiple areas on Thursday, defence sources had told ANI. The sources said the attack resembled a Hamas-style operation in Israel, where multiple cheap rockets were used to target cities. Pakistan's attempted retaliation came in the wake of India's Operation Sindoor, where the Indian armed forces targeted nine terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on Wednesday. The operation was a direct response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. Earlier on Thursday, the Indian Army had shot down more than 50 Pakistani drones during a large-scale counter-drone operation along the LoC and International Borders (IB), sources told ANI. The Indian Armed Forces also successfully neutralised Pakistan military's attempts at a large-scale drone and missile attack on multiple Indian military installations across Northern and Western India during the night of May 7-8, and an Air Defence system at Lahore was neutralised.
