Parth Samthaan
has officially wrapped up his stint as ACP Ayushman in CID 2, marking an emotional farewell from the iconic crime show. The actor took to social media to express gratitude, saying, 'And that's it from ACP Ayushman.
From being trolled by people to making them love this ACP, it was a beautiful journey of learnings, laughter, and sweet memories. I will always cherish the bond I shared with the entire
CID
team—cast and crew. So much love and respect for one another, no wonder it became the longest-running and most iconic show. A big thank you to all the creatives and @sonytvofficial for making me a part of your family. Until next time.'

Parth's entry in CID 2 was met with mixed reactions initially. Fans were skeptical and misunderstood that he would be replacing the beloved ACP Pradyuman, played by
Shivaji Satam
.
However, those concerns faded when it became clear that ACP Ayushman was introduced to assist the legendary officer, not replace him. Over time, Parth won over the audience with his performance and charm.
Despite the growing admiration, Parth had earlier shared that his appearance in the show was temporary. With his final episode now completed, the cast and crew gathered to give him a warm farewell. The farewell bash included a heartfelt cake-cutting ceremony attended by Shivaji Satam, Hrishikesh Pandey, Aditya Srivastava, and others.
