Woman ‘raped' at popular London park in early hours as man, 33, arrested
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of "raping" a woman in a London park in the early hours of the morning. The alleged incident took place on Tooting Bec Common, South London on the morning of May 30. Officers investigating the allegations of rape have arrested a 33-year-old man who remains in custody. The female victim is being supported by specialist officers at this time. The Met Police said: "Officers investigating an allegation of rape have arrested a 33-year-old man, who remains in custody. 'This relates to two incidents in the early hours of Friday, 30 May near Tooting Bec Common and an address in Balham. A female victim is being supported by specialist officers. 'Anyone who has information that may assist police is asked to call 101 and quote CAD 0786/30MAY. You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.' 1

Crewe murder suspect bailed over woman's death in home
A murder suspect has been released from police custody on conditional bail after a woman died at a residential were called to the death of a 47-year-old on Heron Crescent in Crewe at about 02:00 BST on Sunday. Cheshire Police said the death was being treated as unexplained and a 53-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of murder. The woman's family are being supported by specialist officers, the force added, with people asked to get in touch if they have any information. Man, 19, dies in crash between car and motorcycle in Cornwall
A 19-year-old man has died in a crash in Cornwall, police have crash between a car and the motorcycle happened on the B3374 near Rosevear, Bugle, at about 18:35 BST on Wednesday, Devon and Cornwall Police said the motorbike rider, from Bugle, died at the force said it had referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct "due to prior contact with the motorcyclist".
