A man has been taken to hospital with a suspected stab wound to his chest after being attacked in York city Yorkshire Police said officers were called by the ambulance service to an "incident" in the Walmgate area of the city at about 12:15 force said a cordon had been put in place around the scene, with inquiries to trace the suspect under way.A police spokesperson said it was believed those involved were known to each other and that the wider public were not at risk. Paria Veisi violently stabbed to death, inquest hears

A 37-year-old missing woman died as the result of a stab wound to the neck and upper chest, an inquest has heard. Paria Veisi, from Cathays, Cardiff, was reported missing on 12 April before South Wales Police confirmed her body was found at an address in Penylan, Cardiff, a week Askari, 41, from Penylan, and Maryam Delvary, 48, from White City Estate, London, have been charged in connection with Ms Veisi's death and will appear at Cardiff Crown Court on Pontypridd Coroner's Court on Thursday, coroner Patricia Morgan described Ms Veisi's death as "violent in nature".
