Stevie Nicks Reveals She Is Working on New Album After 14 Years
Not long after announced that she was going on tour, the singer casually revealed at an award show that she was working on her first album of new music in 14 years.
The Fleetwood Mac singer was on stage at the 2025 Pollstar Awards in Los Angeles, Calif. on April 16, when she shared the exciting news with fans, saying, "I'm actually making a record right now."

"I call it the ghost record because it doesn't really... It's just kinda happened in the last couple of weeks," she went on. Nicks explained that she was recently staying in a hotel long-term because of the fires in California, and at one point during the stay, she thought, "You know what? I feel like I'm on the road, but there's no show... You need to go back to work."
She said that she already wrote seven songs that are "autobiographical, real stories where I'm not pulling any punches for probably the first time in my life."

One excited fan shared a clip of Nicks' speech announcing the big news, writing, "'im not pulling any punches for the first time in my life' oh she's releasing borrowed 2.0 it's so over HELP AHHHHHH IM SCARED."
This will be the first album featuring new music from Nicks in 14 years since In Your Dreams came out in 2011. In 2014, she released the studio album 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault, composed of new versions of old demos reportedly written between 1969 and 1995.
